Since 2009 I've been saying that its a great (although dangerous time) time to be buying property (if you know how to do it safely).
Why is it great but dangerous? It is a great time because it's a buyers market but this time is dangerous because interest rates are at their all time lowest! Low interest rates can be like a two edged sword, if you don't know what you are doing. Have you heard about the saying that you must always "buy at the right time"? A few years ago, the market was heated and it was a seller's market. If you bought a property then you probably overpaid.
